AGRIMED is an academic unit of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Chile. Its main objective is to develop and promote the use of technologies for environmental studies and Agriculture.

Among these technologies are included Geographic Information Systems, the Satellite Techniques, Numerical Modeling the Space, Simulation Techniques for Creating Scenarios and Assessment of Impacts of Development on Natural Resources.
